Home Manager

Meet Nikki Patterson – Manager of Belvoir House

Nikki's extensive and diverse experience in the healthcare sector has shaped her into a dedicated and compassionate leader at Belvoir House. Over the years, Nikki has worked across a variety of settings, including hospital wards, Acute Medical Units, A&E departments, and as a live-in carer for individuals with complex health conditions like Multiple Sclerosis. She has supported people living with learning disabilities, dementia, and mental health challenges both in their homes and in clinical environments.

Her time as a healthcare assistant on ambulances and in emergency departments further strengthened her skills and understanding of providing care during critical moments. Now, as the manager of Belvoir House, Nikki uses her vast expertise to lead a team focused on delivering exceptional, person-centred care to people with dementia.

For Nikki, care is more than just a profession—it's her life's calling. She believes in making a real difference by providing support, comfort, and kindness to those who need it most. “Care is not just a job to me; it is part of who I am,” she says. Nikki's dedication to improving the well-being of others shines through in her emphasis on person-centred care, ensuring that every individual’s unique needs, preferences, and beliefs are respected.

Her goal is to enhance and brighten lives, creating an environment where each resident feels valued, understood, and cared for as a person—not just a number. For Nikki, even the smallest moments of happiness, like bringing a smile to someone’s face, make her work incredibly rewarding.

At Belvoir House, Nikki’s leadership reflects her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to delivering care that uplifts and empowers each resident to live with dignity and purpose.
